Notes on mineral feeding, pasture and herd care.
Free-choice feeding means placing a mineral block or lick where animals can reach it and letting them take what they need, when they need it. It suits pasture and paddock systems, and it is why blocks must hold up in sun, wind and rain.
Himalix products are made from rock salt mined in Pakistan's Himalayan Salt Range. The salt occurs naturally with trace minerals, and our blocks use it without added colours or preservatives.
Horses, dairy cattle, sheep, deer and camels differ in how they live and eat. Pick the Himalix product made for your species, place it where animals gather, and keep clean water close by. For nutrition plans, talk to your veterinarian or animal nutritionist.
